We Celebrate the Dads of The Beard Club

We Celebrate the Dads of The Beard Club

Our fathers have watched us grow, guided us along the way, and taught us what is it to be a man. While we can never thank them enough, we want to take the time to recognize some of the amazing dads of The Beard Club.

We asked our members to submit stories and pictures of their dad and we had an absolutely overwhelming response (check out the video)!

While it's nearly impossible to select just 5 winners of an Advanced Beard Grooming Kit, but rules are rules. So without further ado, here are the winners and amazing stories from our Father’s Day Giveaway.

Winner #1: Roberto Alvarez Jr.

Submitted By: Roberto Alvarez III

"My dad has been there for me my entire life. He is one of the greatest men I know. From early on, he has taught me all about hard work and respect. He has worked for 20+ years as a high school sports coach. I have seen him change lives and outwork the rest of the people in the room. He was my tennis coach for 8 years growing up and we traveled all across the state together. I never realized it at the time, but along with teaching me the game of tennis, he also taught me about the game of life. From big things like helping support me with my education to small things such as giving me tips on how to trim my beard, he was always there making sure I got everything I needed. It is hard to put into words the tremendous impact he has had on my life. I love and respect him and hope to one day become at least half the man he is."

Winner #2: Tracy Hampton

Submitted By: Nicholas Hampton

"My dad is the definition of a hard-working father. We didn’t always have much but he always broke his back for me my sister and my mom who is now battling lung cancer and lost her job. My dad will not stop working, and he has always showed me what it is meant to be a real man, a real husband, and a father. He deserves to be shown throughout the country and the world of what a man will do to make sure his family has a roof over his family, food in their stomachs, and clothes on our backs. My sister and I are grown and taking care of ourselves, but he still is always helping us no matter what, and he has a killer mustache that always made me think he looks like Tom Selleck."

Winner #3: Chris Ramirez

Submitted By: Aubree Ramirez

"My dad is special to me because he has raised me since I was 11 months old. He took on the role as our father. He was willing to become the dad to my older brother and I. Not a lot of men are willing to take on the role as a stepdad but mine did!! In our eyes he isn’t our stepdad, he is our dad! One quote that I have always liked is by Ashley Stock, 'He never treated me like I was a package deal. I wasn’t a burden in his eyes, I was a bonus.' I really like this quote because it really relates to us, before my dad married my mom he would always reference me and my brother as his kids. He would never say my girlfriend’s kids or my step kids, we were always HIS kids. I would like to show my appreciation to my dad with this gift because he really is special to us!!

Winner #4: Peter

Submitted By: Peter Rivera

"My father was a career military man and spent years sacrificing his life and body for others. He did all that without complaint. Now that he is retired, he spends his days in therapy for his injuries, playing with his granddaughter, and enjoying time at home. My father is a man of honor and respect, but all I've ever know was his love and sacrifice for my brother and me."

Winner #5: Anthony (AJ) Troiano

Submitted By: Anthony (AJ) Troiano Jr.

"My father's mustache has been his signature look my entire adult life (a mixture of Frank Zappa and Jim Croce) - he recently overcame both Acute Leukemia and COVID-19 and was in the hospital for 13 weeks. Less than a 20% chance to survive, on a ventilator for 26 days, truly a miracle man."

Congrats to all the winners and to all the dads out there - you inspire us every day. Happy Father's Day.
