Our Beard Cream is Better Than Ever

At The Beard Club, we always strive to help you grow and maintain the best beard possible, and that means providing you with the finest tools and ingredients available. As part of our commitment to excellence, we’ve made some major changes to our popular Beard Cream. Our Beard Cream has been completely reformulated with new ingredients to help keep your beard feeling soft and silky.

We want to offer products that are not only the best possible for your beard, but also for you—and for the planet. Our new Beard Cream has been reinvented around the guidelines put forward by the Environmental Working Group, a non-profit organization that grades cosmetics and cleansing products based on how they can affect the user’s health. You can take comfort in knowing that not only will our Beard Cream improve the texture and appearance of your beard, it’ll also do so while benefiting your overall health.

While our Beard Cream has an all-new formula, we haven’t changed everything about it. The older recipe already contained lots of good stuff like pure water and coconut and sunflower oils—natural ingredients that helped give your beard a smooth, healthy feel. We’re big believers in the idea that you shouldn’t fix what ain’t broke, so we didn’t take out any of the good ingredients when we were concocting our new Beard Cream formula.

At the same time, we’ve also found that not all oils are created equal. The old Beard Cream contained a few oils and acids that weren’t quite up to par. Going forward, you’ll no longer find less healthful natural components like avocado oil, pumpkin seed oil, and cetyl alcohol in our Beard Cream. Our world—and your beard—will be better off for it.

So what have those old ingredients been replaced with? Let’s highlight a few of the best.

Coco-Glucoside is produced from the chemical reaction between glucose—fruit-based sugar—and coconut oil-derived ingredients. We use it as a natural emulsifier to keep the oils and water in our Beard Cream from separating on the shelf.

Apricot Kernel Oil is a very light oil (much lighter than the oils we’ve removed!) that does wonders for help keeping the skin beneath your beard soft and nourished.

Xanthan Gum is a sugar-based polymer known as a polysaccharide. We use it in our Beard Cream for a binder, as a stabilizing emulsifier, to condition your skin, and help control the viscosity of the cream. That’s a pretty versatile ingredient!

All of the ingredients we’ve added sport an EWG score of 1, which means there’s no scientific evidence that they could cause harm to people who use them. We can say with pride that our new Beard Cream will soften your beard and make your skin smooth without exposing you to any harmful chemicals or substances.
